Con Amore: Greed

by Sasjah Miller

There are times when I fear Hippocrates will come in a roll of thunder to drag me away and deliver me to Hades, and I will receive the punishment I deserve.

For there are times I wish for a skirmish, a brush with the enemy, and that he will be wounded. A sword cut, not threatening his life but debilitating enough to demand my utmost attention without raising suspicion.

No phsysician who has sworn himself to life and healing should harbour such sickening thoughts; but if I cannot touch him as a lover I will take what I can get.
